Klepto
Kleptomania: is an inability or great difficulty in resisting impulses of stealing.
People with this disorder are compelled to steal things, generally things of little or no value, such as pens, paper clips, tape, small toys, or packets of sugar. Some may not be aware that they have committed the theft until later. The majority of kleptomaniacs have preferences to certain items (again, usually subconsciously); for example, batteries or television remote controls.......People with this disorder are likely to have a comorbid condition, specifically paranoid, schizoid or borderline personality disorder. Kleptomania can occur after traumatic brain injury and carbon monoxide poisoning.
Kleptomania is usually thought of as part of the obsessive-compulsive disorder spectrum, although emerging evidence suggests that it may be more similar to addictive and mood disorders. In particular, this disorder is frequently co-morbid with substance use disorders, and it is common for individuals with kleptomania to have first-degree relatives who suffer from a substance use disorder.
For some people it is paper clips or remote controls but for me it is canned goods from the grocery store, specifically corn today. Since Camille was born Kleptomania has taken over! After checking out at the store, unloading groceries and then unloading Camille from the cart (all you mom's know how you have to stuff the groceries around the carseat) I often find items that missed the checkout hiding under her carseat. Two weeks ago it was shampoo at target....more canned goods before Christmas, etc. Today, I specifically checked twice for hidden items but there are many tricky places to hide under a baby, carseat, blanket, diaper bag, etc. and somehow the corn stayed hidden until I took everything out of the cart. So then it was back into the store again (which means baby back in the cart, blankets back in the cart, and diaper bag back in the cart) so that I could fight my Kleptomaniac urges(the definition specifically states that you may not be aware of the theft until later) and rectify the mishap with the store. I feel bad bearing this bad news over the internet but the tail end of the definition states that it is common for my first-degree relatives to have a substance abuse disorder.......I felt this information should be out in the open so that we can ALL get the help we need.

I found.........MYSELF!!!
Camille has just discovered herself in the mirrors and we think it is so cute.....as all of us parents do! The bathrooms are definately her favorite places in the house right now!
Update:
Sam is still busy studying but last night we got to go on a date! We went to Maccaroni Grill and it turned out to be quite the evening. They "forgot" about us while we were waiting and when they realized their mistake tried to seat us at the standing bar because there weren't open tables. Yeah, the standing bar isn't quite our idea of a nice date.....and ridiculous for a baby. So we said we would rather leave than sit there. We nicely told the manager what had happened on our way out and she said there was No Way we were leaving and we were having dinner on her. She insisted we enjoy the full course of the menu. Well, if you know Sam and I, you know we love good food. Our meal went from sharing a chicken pasta and salad to..... fillet mignon, lobster stuffed ravioli, crusted artichoke cakes, italian cream sodas(yum), and salads.....we passed on dessert because we were entirely too stuffed. We hope they forget about us again next time we go!
I am still busy with young womens. This week we are making the valentine's sugar cookies that are in the Recipe Spot. I have started scrapping again and admit that I have crossed over to the digital side..........SO fun. Sam and I pluck away at our computers side by side on the couch. It is kindof funny.

We just started feeding Camille rice cereal and she cannot get enough of it. This was one of the first times when she was a little unsure but it only took a couple tries and now she LOVES it. She will lean half way out of her seat to try to get it faster. We have not made a bowl too big for her yet.....she polishes it off and the will try and sip the edge of the bowl like a cup. It is so funny!
